Active Release Techniques Ⓡ A.R.T.
Active Release Technique ® is used to treat and relieve pain associated with soft-tissue injuries. Soft tissue refers primarily to muscle, tendon, ligament, fascia, and nerves. The basic premise is that scar tissue builds up at the injury site, trapping nerves or preventing tendons, ligaments, and muscles from working properly. ART® treatment allows patients to return to optimal state with partial to full resolution of symptoms in about 2-4 weeks.
